Shipbuilding/Marine Industry Jobs in Batam
Structural Engineer SGD2500 – SGD4500
Our client is a leading player in the Shipbuilding / Marine industry. They are current looking for a suitably qualified candidate for the position Structural Engineer – Shipbuilding / Rig.
This is a Batam Based position. Accommodation & meals will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary and detailed hull scantlings calculations
- Perform equipment foundation / interface structure design and calculations
- Prepare structure drawings (e.g. midship section, shell expansion)
- Prepare equipment foundation drawing
- Provide onsite support to production for design issued
- Use CAD system as a design tool
- Support new business/market development work
Requirements
- Degree in Shipbuilding / Naval Architecture / Marine Technology / Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the Shipbuilding industry
- Preferably with hull, outfitting and ship design experience
- Must be proficient in TRIBON / AutoCAD design / drafting
- Knowledge of Weight Calculation for BOM
- Knowledge of specialized structure analysis tools and software is advantageous
