First Engineer – MEP
(Jakarta Raya)
Responsibilities:
Maintenance
* Manages scheduled maintenance tasks in conjunction with the school maintenance program, taking into account school activities and suggests improvements
* Manages contract, daily and permanent staff in a timely manner
* Ensures spare parts are available in timely manner
* Cooperates with all JIS stakeholders to achieve optimum results
Operations
* Ensures continuous supply of services at all times to met the needs of the school
* Ensures system reliability to minimize downtime – work to improve downtime
* Ensures quality of services meet JIS operating standards
* Ensures plant and equipment is operated to achieve maximum operating effectiveness and financial efficiency
* Ensures routine operational checks are carried out and reported to the Plant and Maintenance Manager in a timely manner
Projects
* Attends routine project meetings as required
* Assists in design development
* Checks design drawings and reports findings to Acting Project Manager
* Follows and implements JIS material and building standards at all times
* Carries out regular site inspection during construction and reports to Acting Project Manager
* Checks standard of workmanship and adherence to construction drawings throughout construction period
* Assists with and approves technical inspections during commissioning
* Assists with handover from contractor to JIS
* Supervises site works to ensure compliance with current JIS Health and Safety regulations
General
* Maintains a high degree of safety awareness
* Understands and complies with all relevant JIS Health and Safety regulations
* Checks that materials delivered are in compliance with Materials Approvals and rejects those that are not comply with specifications
* Follows all JIS business processes including ISO standards
Requirements:
* Indonesian citizen
* University graduate in Engineering or related
* Computer literate, especially MS Office Suite and MS Project. AutoCad preferred but not essential
* Knowledge of building repairs, maintenance and construction techniques
* 5-years related experience
* Supervisory experience an advantage
* Problem solving skills essential
* Communication skills essential
